Motorhoming about seeing it all, Vandwelling allows you to surprise yourself. I find my mind constantly decides if i should be here, only going when i feel the need. I step outside the van and honestly cannot believe i am there. It is a pure freedom. Travelling where best suits you finding places that are fun, towns, villages, cities, places of natural beauty like lakes, beaches, mountains, rivers, the whole world becomes your back garden, instead of being contractually locked in. Saving money on top of that is just amazing having a place to stop, relax, reduce stress, rest, go fishing, eat, drink , coffee shops, work online and then meet people. At the absolute minimum a person just needs needs a physical shelter to cover them and keep warm. However with building a motorhome the more creative ideas, the more spent, increases the comfort and sustainability to not just endure the experience but live in relative comfort. Once that is attained huge financial cost benefits begin, and whole inversion of expenses can exist which benefits the person daily

After doing these the steps you may never look back. The simpler we make our lives the more abundant they become. Freedom allows people to reevaluate. Aside from the total reconstruction of finances, the basic liberation is a different lifestyle or culture. One lifestyle teaches people, nationalism, to stay within a house, settled in projected long term financial benefit, under total governance, with inheritance tax acquiring their projected wealth. LIBERTY : explain since eight 8 years old never believing the system, I knew i was going to get a motorhome at 8 years old, digging holes, about votes counting, having choice, power structures, wars and forced tax and being reinforced to trust this system, religion , private school,totality, Ideological state apparatus such as control systems like church, royalty, military, media, government, film and music, anything designed to keep people poor or uninformed and to believe that they are seeing ideals when in fact it is making things worse in terms of freedom choice and quality of life.

RIGHTS : Inalienable rights supersede governmental laws and cultural norms. These natural rights include the right to think for oneself, the right to life, and the right to self-defence, and they remain through every human's lifetime. As living breathing existing humans we require the most basic right, our right to exist on land on the planet, having property that we exist to live on safely. If any person built their own home, a bulldozer would demolish this based on government laws that prevent free living humans from existing. Who is at greater fault, us humans just for being born, or the tyrannical control system preventing us living on land? The process of age of criminal responsibility starts at birth certificates, registration of passports to travel, and property taxes. Political policies, by legislation, force families that have existed multiple generations of the living home. By accepting to pay in towards this system has established royalty, exclusion, language barriers, cultural ignorance, media constructed wars, manipulation of logic, over working of human labour, division of rights from rich to poor, deep state policy that cannot be challenged, forced exclusion, prisons, destruction of human rights, which all resulted from the inalienable right being removed. Every single day , governments worldwide work to control people, ever increasing their reach. The system control regulations has gotten to such an extreme level of domination. Ordinary motorhomers, conscious observert people, merely existing in a motorhome, can elicit powerful feelings of freedom. Their sacrifice normally being that the police knock on the walls of the vehicle to move people onwards.

SO WHY DO PEOPLE CHOOSE THIS SYSTEM? : People crave certainty, feeling a sense of security and normality, In wanting this they accept the imposed system. The point is the system was not a choice, this was enforced at some period of time in history, when people were able to construct their own homes and they worked in a small form of community. This was overrun at some period of time in the past, ame into a concept where there is a leader of a country. People both self imposed the system on themselves, their family and constructed a model of acceptance towards the concept. We know religion, government work on the primitive level of fear, not wanting to go to hell or be locked up in prison.

An example is where royalty own land, and control an orchard of apples. Society (the public) want to eat this fruit. They are told firstly that they must guard this orchard of apples from the remaining public. Then the apples are sold at rates to the public where they must work in labour for a period of time to be able to purchase the fruit. The labour is both constructive towards the royalty and the model of working. The public then view the royalty as necessary toward society and defend this concept. Royalty then separates the public minds, by giving some greater wealth than others, which further keeps the control system empowered and the working class hopelessly dependent. The higher ups seek power and wealth, and keep the remaining poor and disheartened. The higher ups are the only people who are allowed to be in close contact with the royalty. Policing is required to keep the poor working or in prison, never questioning authority, Media is required to reinforce this control system and then this becomes multi generational. The military deeply believe royalty as their superpower, willing to die for their system and fight further to make the system unbeatable.This system creates cities and expands into the villages. After World Wars this further expanded into resources beyond apples but oil in far distant areas of the globe. It gets so overwhelming that you hear people say, “Do you realise how hard it is to stop the media?”

As people are awakening, recognising that history was a lie : New people of tomorrow, not being trapped or mind controlled, see the essence of their inalienable rights

* In America if you did not own land you were not allowed to vote. As George Carlin said, the consensus reality is always intentionally misleading. The people who are in charge never investigate themselves.

* Felt the system was a scam, a con to lock us into a prescribed model. I felt people lacked the vision to see through a constructed system. Once you are locked in, the language, education, job, house and bills would lock the person into this system. Freedom would be abolished. The system seeks those that tolerate that system, then works on locking them into the system with bureaucracy. As we now have shown if the general public oppose wars the system reach is so large they can ahead despite mass protest. The public interest is lost. There is a freedom mentally to being of the grid, and a more well rounded mindset is achieved. I believe a left and right wing argument is conceived to completely distract us from basic truths. When you are at work you are working, when you at home you are consuming.

* Houses were too small for Saxon sized men. Kitchen surfaces are too low causing back pain, our kitchen island has a table round it, only just above my knee. Spending a life's income to live in small space would have made me mad. Society is designed for commodity products, so kitchens are standard height size, clothes are made for the mainstream. I found table too low to reach down, sofas too low to the ground my knees could not find the correct angle. I would bang my legs under tables, like in the living room. Cupboards, where cleaning products were stored were so difficult to reach open, reach down, then stretch my arms to the back and select what i needed. Things were cluttered everywhere, particularly kitchens and bedrooms storage. Welfare state system seeks to control individuals further. The state gives people council homes, then a small amount of money, which is then given straight back to the council as rent, then the small amount of funds remaining goes to food, which 20% is taxed going back to the government.

* I think a passport is licence to travel, which is declined when the authorities feel they want to cancel it. The notion of your freedom to just be anywhere is decided not by you but by the government. The population always supports power and control, which is patriotism, but deep inside they are afraid of this control system, like the fear of going to prison or going to school, where they don’t want to go to school but they are told to.I.e right or wrong i support my country, only supporting the country who has taken the higher ground and used large weapons, instead of the population being destroyed. This is why the patriots support wars, as they side with power, which at its core is rule by force and fear.

* Elderly parents being defrauded in a ponzi scheme, and how usury government protected the criminals. We paid a lot in the system, items purchased each business is charged corporation tax, individual income tax, national insurance, student loan repayments, then the housing costs from mortgages, rent, bank charges, loans, credit cards, electricity costs, water cost, council tax, repairs and reconstruction. The function of a government is that when civilians need something, they request it from the authorities, if they need police, prosecution, divorce, medicine, schools or doctors. When my parents were defrauded the CPS dropped the charges of Fraud on the criminal. We appealed their decision to judicial review, which is never normally overruled, and was on this occasion the same. It is at that point i realised that we hand over all our power and expect justice to occur. There was evidence, but as the expression goes power corrupts. This fraudster had been represented in court by powerful connections.

Even after a person dies, their building they spent their whole life paying for is not a “house” it’s an “asset”. Inheritance tax is designed to take 40% of their assets afterlife. The system is specially and thoroughly targeted to collect all the income that people earn, by creating expenditure, whereby the rate of charges can fluctuate by the government in taxes, or water, gas, electricity companies in rates. This is a cartel, where business / association of manufacturers/ suppliers collude with the purpose of maintaining prices at a high level and restricting competition. Governments form a coalition or cooperative arrangement between political parties intended to promote a mutual interest. Wealthy people know of this control system, but encourage this system as it benefits them, paying to live on land and human right to exist on land in any country is not encouraged. This explains how banks have charges and fees, long term debts overdrafts, friends spending all my wages on drugs and drink, no one seemed to question the system, and since wars people are actively told and under law not to question the system. I found people regurgitating what the media told them, as if it was their ideas. A circular argument (never ending), like democracy or supply and demand, is being perpetuated by governments and their media channels to keep people in perpetual (never ending or changing) state of spending everything they earn by increasing housing costs/rent, inflation on general goods, costly wars that have no definition of ever ending, that are always focused on the energy resource regions or their imperial controllers. The public is kept in a constant state of flux with basic domestic worries that external events they have no control over. Media is mainly designed to suppress people from their own consciousness. People are not encouraged to think for themselves, or develop their own self sustaining living, they are encouraged to rely on systems, that as my family have found, when they were defrauded in a ponzi scheme, cannot by any channel of civil or criminal law pursue the crimes down to them. It has also transpired that the same happens with war, as the expression goes, the first casualty of war is the truth. Explaining to people that this control system exists, and its threats to our freedoms, take a long time, as people awareness, consciousness, with physical and mental energy is so exhausted by the demands of this control system on them, they cannot access this information by regular means.

FREEDOM : Is not just about being able to go anywhere you want at any time, it’s about being able to stay where you want with your own things. You can stay in peace and quiet with no one bothering you. In a house you are stuck in there, watching TV and lounging, all the time costing money. Motorhomes can be made comfortable, bespoke to the height and reach of the individual. I had to move into a motorhome to custom make a table, that i can fit my legs under, and bed longer than me, as i am tall, previously i had undersized commodity beds and tables which was uncomfortable. Motorhomers stay outside and explore for longer. What needs to be explored is the mental freedom. Examples of mental freedom is financial. So most people feel financially burdened when they leave their house, they pay for a burger or coffee in a shop and finish it before it feels they are loitering. The perception of the public is to be disapproving to homeless, people washing up in sinks. Yet being a motorhome there is a mental freedom, a calmness. A place to stop, rest, eat, sleep and work all without cost. Homeless people are escaping troubles of abuse or financial pressure. Every child goes to school, pays taxes,watches TV, lives within laws set by politicians under financial control. Motorhomes solve problems of people in social , slavery and financial distress. When a baby is born it goes through a detailed control system of working with no reward.

I could no longer discuss with people about wars on a rational level, Evidence is seen of this where people are so badly uninformed on history of countries, current affairs and thus historical aspects.

Learning intrinsic thought, inherent truth, introspectiveness is being allowed to go deeper into your opinions. I felt i was trapped in a system speaking in tautologies. If people are behaving like moron, you don’t have to behave the same to fit in. Vandwelling lifts an inner spirit where the mind is allowed to balance. Pro royalists, pro government, pro church, pro media require being directed. These people demand dominance and motorhoming you can feel yourself being lifted from this. Coming from the UK where some people claim they are free, yet they are powerless over government to stop war/housing inflation / banking corruption / student debt.

Dad took us to Derbyshire in a company car to our caravan that was permanently fixed there. Loading the car with our bits and bobs and taking the long drive, the holiday began in the journey, getting excited to where we were going, then we would unpack and enjoy and the environment and meet people, eat, go out and relax together. Having a motorhome is as if the caravan is with you all the time, you have all your stuff with you, and the excitement is always when you travel. You stay in public places like cafes, street shops, supermarkets, shopping centres, restaurants, special interest.

Explain small houses in UK, stub our toes on things, doors and cupboards open into one other things, low door frames, even kitchens are designed for the small only, bending over to peering into dishwashers that are so close to the ground, even clothes are mainly made too small from most high street shops, houses are no longer built only apartments to profit at the cost of people living inside of them, prices do not relate to income,

Smoking and drinking has caused demonstrous problems to my life and health. AA meetings we are told that banning alcohol is off topic, however everybody then explains their health problems, addictions, social shortcomings, financial problems, mental health, accident, injuries, family breakdown, relationship breakdown, domestic violence, unwanted pregnancies, divorce loss of career. This is my life, we all know this system is just an invention of ideas, for example science is fact and real, this control system is just an idea. By thinking outside of common perception, you can be single minded and start living your life freely. People get demonised by saying that this system is the solution and that modern day living with domestic luxuries like mobile phones are bettering their life, however, if you take the iphone for example, why are you not allowed to remove the battery, people has explained this as it is a tracking device that can be turned on , listen in, why? If you are a good person then you have nothing to hide, then why does the system listening on everyone, made it illegal to debate in university on this.

what I like about motorhomes is that it can reignite the passion into your life, create your own paradise, you can surprise yourself, have a sense of adventure.

Replied : Mike, at last, its good to have someone write the truth on what is happening. It frustrated me when people could not see understand such basic premises as freedom. Firstly preparation and construction

SELL YOUR STUFF : go over all your possessions and what you store, put aside what you need and sell everything, or throw away the rest into a skip. This minimalism will clear the mind, and allow room for creativity

RESEARCH DESIGN LAYOUT : Chose a van instead of a motorhome, because of : height and length, width is allowed on permitted roads that have width restriction barriers, much higher reliability, stealth/security, fuel economy, anything towed is more difficulty, easy to get into the back, van used for motorhome can still be used as a van for deliveries, very useful to own in life in every scenario (something that school never teaches).

I looked at converted luxury bespoke motorhomes, took what i needed out of it like a bathroom, office, bedroom and kitchen, from designs to quality materials, and then realised i needed function, simplicity and reliability the most. Whatever the final cost would be, the rent saving would eventually offset this completely. So i made a spreadsheet of every item, wrote down the current living costs, then could see when the motorhome pays for itself, where time and cost intersect. I could see from my income how much i can put aside and gradually build my own motor-home. Various possibilities started to develop places i could stay, then how i would work, redesigning the business tasks to take advantage of the internet, then various equipment that would work for the motorhome.

Having space for me was crucial, i don't like struggling in small spaces despite theory on proxemics where you adjust / learn to live in the space you fill

Of course buying the right van, panel van means security,stealth and low cost as opposed a full motorhome, size the manufacture (explain LWB van dimensions from chart in cabin, weight 3.5 tonnes, high enough for 6ft 6 man to stand), levels of work. Iveco Daily evolved from Lorries downwards in size to van, so it has a height of the ground that is good, not like a car evolved upwards to a van, where the clearance from the ground is very low. We saw a class C Swift Kontiki 679, at £80,000 the door handles were so tacky they were new and about to break, The build quality of vans is stronger compared to RV (explain plastic door handle nearly breaking), rear outdoor parcel shelf is not secure holding anything like generators, as it will be stolen, under the van is secure. The windows in motorhome are a flaw, and stealth was on the only way as i wanted a self sufficient motorhome (no hook ups), the only external requirement is water from outside, gas lasts months and electricity is from solar. Having no gas, water, electricity hook ups like other motorhomes, which restrict the motorhome to boring motorhome parks.

Van designs of future should have engine below cabin like mercedes a class. I bought a iveco daily, with 33 miles per gallon, the front seats, sitting bench, acrylic table and full gas and water tank are the heaviest parts opposingly bed frame (which was wood but changed to steel tubes), mattress, plastic bathtub, weight nothing. Some people buy RV's with appalling fuel consumption, then tow a car behind for lower fuel consumption

Mention that motorhome home cupboard for butane or propane in the UK differ in size of bottles to the European types, my setup is much simpler

Bed medium foam mattress size: 220 x 155 x 15 custom bed sheets, I am 1.98 meters high and have had many beds (lived with girlfriend and we went through 4 beds together), even the longest standard bed i sleep is 2 meters, i had to move into a van to get more bed space.

ELECTRICITY : designing electrical consumption for 24 hours use 600 watt solar (usually receive 300 watts at anytime),6 110ah leisure batteries (max storage 2070 Watt hours) never to be stored under the van as its too cold must be warm on inside and safely strapped, 60 amp charge controller (solar panel dimensions, quantity, charge controller, batteries, cables, split charge relay). under the bonnet to explain the split charge relay (called Solenoid is USA) on the battery, and lastly the roof solar panels, to charge controller and 6 leisure batteries, and starter battery with VSR relay bi directional (Daily has either the 110a or 140a alternator, and you're only doing this for periods of reduced sunlight,You're not going to lose £1300 (cost of a new Honda) in fuel from idling 1 hour per day. Sources from scangauge data shows 0.1-0.2 gallons per hour, at ~0.1 idling at 600-800rpm (warmed up) and ~0.2 at 800-1100rpm (cold idle, A/C, extra load, etc). Basically you'd have to idle for a very very very long time to make up for that 1300.

CONSTRUCTION LAYOUT : You want to design and build a heavy duty (can take daily use without breaking) ergonomic space (fit for purpose, accessibility). This needs to maximise the physical space for daily function, utilizing inside and out. So everything must fold away reliably (nothing fiddly) so heavy duty hinges, solid hooks, heavy duty straps to keep things in place, where nothing rattles. You need to retrieve items with relative ease (For example my hoover is stored away as it’s only used every other day, but can be quickly ready, also shelves don’t have cupboard doors, they are angled/sloped at a gradient to not fall so everything is just in and out). Everything must be comfortable, able to keep clean for example i used synthetic leather on walls and seats. It must satisfy all your needs and built correctly from the start to handle anything you require. Build everything specific to my size (bed is 2.2 meters long, shelves at right height, table height / leg clearance, light/heater/ thermometer/ charge controller displays at eye level). Mechanically you need the engine serviced to a new standard. Can’t have pipes freezing in winter, insulation must be where ever cold may come in.

Interior Kitchen : oven, stove, gas connections, basin, chopping board, cutlery, utensils, Fridge 12 volt and 15 amp leads with fuse explained powered by separate battery in bank and not linked and cooking with Gas explanation even with bed down in front, show chopping boat tray collection and all cooking utensils.

Motorhome can be returned to a van purpose in removing bathtub drain screw, Clear acrylic large table 1.2 meters by 1.2 meters with 45 cm radius cutout for front cabin access, with removable leg and hinges that it can be removed, for loading (show video of pallet coming in 120 cm by 80 cms), totals 3 pallets with under sheet to protect carpet. Van purpose still available - I have carried a Sofa, Superbike, bicycles, 5 - 1 pallets, loose boxes filling whole load area, fridge freezers, dining table and 6 chairs, bed frame and mattresses, garden collections, four person maximum (show video)

CHORES : hoovering is literally 3 minutes end to end, cleaning,

Laundry hand wash clothes in bath tub with basin, washing up liquid, gloves, then twisting material dry, (not mangle as i tested the heavy wind type, the plastic mop squeezing with an arm type), then hanging over bathtub cable so they can drip, occasionally twisting the bottom where the water collects, airing, ventilating, using oven as heater to dry items faster.

Portable Washing Machine: washing machines use 100 litres of water to wash clothes, efficient washing machines use 45 litres, hand washing and portable washing machine clothes uses about 10 litres

Emptying grey water in drains and blackwater into toilets,

COOKING : The natural evolution of the van design. Firstly it’s bringing out everything that needs preparing, chopping, then cooking should always be done with the windows down. Cooking food in the oven can double as making a hot surface to dry wet items like hand towels. The whole space of the van is used when cooking, the top of fridge gets used as table surface for plates, stirring spoons., the basket for foil, and the cutlery fills the table.

SHOWERING : water for cooking and showering (60 litres / 16 Gallons of tap water last 1 person 7 days showering, washing dishes & clothes). For a shower, connect gas tank to cooker, fill an empty metal water container for 30 seconds on the highest flow of the tap. 30 seconds of fast water pumping takes 15 minutes to have hot water. Assemble shower curtains, after having the shower then and wiping the ceiling , and length of curtain top to bottom with sponge, then hook the shower curtain and tip the water down the drain hole. Open the window to let the air clear and put the sliding door ajar.To put the shower away, i have dry curtains after 20 minutes and brush the teeth, and unhook the curtains.

SICKNESS, HEALTH, INJURY AND ILLNESS, HEALTH INSURANCE, PRIVATE HOSPITAL, HOSPITAL

Without a doubt this has proven to be the biggest problem.

United Kingdom : summers are very difficult with high pollen count and taking antihistamines.

Morocco : the largest problem was Mosquitos, which is now fixed by assembling a Mosquito net over the bed with a hook

Spain : I got a bug, that caused vomiting, diarrhea and sweating, could not eat food. Later found out to be Malaria. I used a EC medical card to get a drip and then prescription. Also Mosquitos were an issue.

Greece : checked into private hospital for lower back pain and leg pain, got two injections.I have Meralgia Paraesthetica, in lower back and top right thigh, which painkillers and rest fix.

YOGA is essential to prevent illness, increased movement after long periods of sitting or lying down, to correct posture, improve blood blow and correct nerves.

SECURITY attempted and actual break-in's

I learnt to not leave van with the sliding door or back door ajar (slightly open but locked), as on two occasions people look at this as an attempt to break in. It’s best to put windows down when inside the van, and doors ajar. Areas like Marseille where every entrance is electronically gated and nothing is parked on the street shows that it's a dangerous area.

Malaga Spain sliding door lock damaged with flathead screwdriver and hammer, full lockset replaced

Marbella Spain had the back doors ajar (slightly open) but locked on a mechanism. Whilst i was inside the van again, this man wrenched open for 10 seconds the back doors, breaking the lock. Strange man just strolled off to his van, mumbling and drove off.

Nice France, whilst shopping in supermarket, another forced entry using hammer and screwdriver on locks on sliding door, passenger door and metal body work hammered with screwdriver causing holes.

Marseille France two men do another forced entry using screwdriver on lock on sliding door whilst i was in bed at 2.30am. Waking up to in the motorhome to people trying to fiddle the tumble lock, i burst out a passenger door, they run to their car and screech off. Ten minutes later a hatchback car (with boot raised concealing the licence plate) reverses to the front of motorhome another man (connected to that group), offers to help then walks inside searching the van using their old small mobile phone as a torch and asking for my passport. Then questioning the man he screeches off in his car. This was reported to the Police.

Tbilisi Georgia : Gardener using petrol lawnmower wants to cut grass behind van, Gardener reaches inside open passenger window to open sliding door, whilst i am inside the vehicle, On another separate occasion, the same Gardener reaches through an open window, unlocks the door, whilst I am inside the vehicle. Separately four drunk loiterers on pavement demanded money for being parked for a few hours.

Tbilisi Georgia : Walking back on a darkened road on the pavement from the supermarket, in the Winter, A plain clothed person standing in front of the standard car, saying something to me In Georgian. I ignore him and continue walking. A few meters down the road I feel him tugging one of my shoulders bags, so i twist his arm of the bag. His smiling partner wearing a police jacket walks to us. Both have walkie talkies but they appear small and cheap. The person wearing the police jacket shows a laminated card that says police officer. They both ask for a passport which i said i do not carry with me. One looks at my bags of shopping, so to poke fun i hold up a bunch of bananas, highlighting the pointless of them looking. I spoke as much English to put them off as they are used to speaking Georgian. One says where do i live to get this passport, i point a few roads away.then orders me to get in the car to drive me whilst he walks to the car. The other person wearing the police jacket shows me on his phone on google translate, saying Drive you home. I shake my head and walk away. The tip for foreigners is not to carry valuable documents that can be held for a ransom. I just carry my bank card, no cash and keys to the motorhome. All precious documents must never be handed over. If they were official police officers i would have to be taken to a police station to hand over any documents. If they were pretending to be police officers to take peoples documents, plant a trap of a fine, then its safest to carry nothing.

cleaning stripped van, Greasing cleaned and removed grease from sliding (oversized) door and put new grease, which made sliding door more simple and slippery, than when it was a courier van. Cleaning surfaces, spraying and oven, Hoovering carpet (I found the Hand Dyson poor at collecting particles, and so the Henry industrial hoover, being slightly larger and powered by 240 volt, brought far better suction, with the standing upright attachment removed).

PARKING

Legal for lorries, truck stops are good, between business parks and residential areas are good, Supermarkets are forbidden in the UK, (show videos and charges), but that is never enjoyable anyway, all the space that is quiet and luscious is outside.

In urban areas stealth is the required, but when in countryside can leave doors open and cook outside. Generally i prefer to park in the area closest to city parking but is the first free parking slots (Explain north of Paris, Hamburg), rest areas/ offset layby’s / petrol stations, quiet roads, places with wifi near hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, parks, side roads (off main roads), villages. Near water source. Each parking spot is unique, with positives and negatives . Never park outside someone's house. The best spots are in a long line of vehicles parked front to back.

Compared to being in a house there is a degree of vulnerability and exposure.

When internally in the vehicle and looking outside, people are intrinsically aware of being observed by the nature of eye contact. Despite being in a dark/ non visible enclosure people externally have an awareness a sense. Research online shows, if the eye is not directly looking at another person eye, but a few degrees away, the awareness stops. So deep in our psyche which is responsible for one's thoughts and feelings, eye contact actuates response.

Mind has Clarity: In the motorhome you feel as you are not answerable to anyone, not under threat from anyone, time slows down

A Base : Motorhome gives you a base

Vehicle stealth : Outside the motorhome you are vulnerable with people either familiarising you, you need to maintain privacy. So exiting and entering the vehicle you do calmly and quietly. Before opening the sliding door I peek over the curtain to can see ahead and use the mirrors to see behind too, so never open doors when people are aside you, and not winding windows with people walking by, draws their attention. These thing maintain a low footprint when staying in a spot for a while. In cities you always have dog walkers going by daily that you observe. This does not happen by office building that people commute to.

Quietness : Inside the motorhome you can be vulnerable and exposed. Stealth and quietness is where you feel secure. Especially in bed at night time, if you are in environment, with people closely walking, talking close by, you could be watching or listening to something with the volume low, but you can be intensely aware of people around. I have insulated the van well so at night it is 5 degrees warmer inside the van. I only use the heater when it's raining or late with no one is around.

People walking by closely : Houses have bricks, then gardens, then fences to separate the outside world. You only have the van walls.

Curtains : In the day time, you are fully dressed, if anything requires attention outside then you immediately ready. I keep curtains open all day, with the a window wound down to keep cool and get air, the sliding door, very slightly ajar, but locked. I notice that people outside cannot see inside the van, even if they are standing as close as the bonnet. This is because the van does not have windows to bring light inside from the back or sides. In fact people on some occasions stand close to the van, make lengthy mobile phone calls, peer through the windscreen and still unaware i am inside. During the daytime i only close the curtains if if i either have a shower, or need to turn the light brighter to see what i am doing.

Manual

VSR : relay will indeed charge in both directions, but it is unusual for the secondary battery to have sufficiently high voltage to trigger the relay to charge the start battery, unless it is connected to a Mains charger.

The switching voltages are stated on the front of the VSR and a small LED indicator lamp indicates operation.

In normal operating conditions when the start battery increases its voltage (When the engine is started), this will trigger the relay and split charging of the secondary battery will commence.

We offered a 5 year warranty period for the solar panels.

Please inspect the panel and make sure that all the cables are tightly secured together and the connections to the charge controller are also tight and secure. Please note that sometimes these connections are behind shrink tubing on the folding solar panels, so as long as there is not movement in and out of the tubing the connections should be OK.

With the panel in bright light, on the back of each panel there is a plastic box with two cables coming out. Please open these up and take a measurement of the voltage from the back of the panel. If the voltage is under 15V please take a photo of the meter reading and send it into us.

If both panels are reading above 15V please take the voltage reading of your battery, photograph this ready, then connect your battery to the charge controller and take a voltage reading across the terminals. Depending on how low the voltage was, and the capacity of your battery we would expect around 13.8 – 17.5V. If you are receiving this voltage, and it is higher (even by only a volt or two) than the battery was before then your charge controller does appear to be working normally.

If your battery is not taking on charge please send us the photo’s of the voltages from your meter.

Operation :

1. Press the C / F button for conversion of Celsius and Fahrenheit

2. Press the MAX / MIN key , Max displays the maximum temperature and humidity while MIN displays minimum temperature and humidity

3. When it displays MAX or MIN, press CLEAR once to clear the memory of the previous temperature and humidity, after 8 seconds it will automatically start to resensor

Time debugging : press the ADJ button for 12/24 hour conversion, press MODE button for 2 seconds in normal display status, minute digit will flash, press ADJ to debug minutes, then press the MODE button, the hour digit will flash, press the ADJ to debug hours, after that press MODE once again it will get back to normal operation

Alarm debugging : press MODE button once, it will display set time, long press MODE button,minute digit will flash, press ADJ to debug minutes, then press the MODE key once, the hour digit will flash, press ADJ button to debug hours, after that press MODE twice it will get back to normal operation

Vivaro

Curtains : At night when the inside lights are on, walking round from the outside it is fully concealed. It is stealth from interior lighting. Vivaro is better than Iveco on this, as it is a thicker full length curtain.

Battery power : The "HEY COKO" light runs all night long on a single charge.

Otherwise there is the key's remote control button, which activates the locks, which also keeps the lights on the inside.

The laptop does not stay on the whole night, so i bought an new original ASUS battery for the laptop, as the last laptop did run the whole time. The battery will arrive in 8 days. We bought that ASUS laptop from that east European kid in Luton town center, I love the laptop so it's worth upgrading the part.

Heater : The heater is on now, but it does not feel hot inside, just lukewarm. It is cold outside. Wearing the black hoodie, I still feel cold. I just bought one of those safety gas carbon monoxide things you got. It has a ten year battery life running on just two AA's. The Iveco was not as air tight as the Vivaro. This Vivaro is much better in build construction. The diesel heater in the Iveco took one hour to heat the interior, once it was up-to heat, it was very pleasant.

Stealth Parking Camping

The downside in the Iveco was that the diesel heater was an engine that made a running noise, so it had no stealth. With the Vivaro the gas heat is silent so is stealth. The Vivaro just as a vehicle blends into the background better, being a boring white panel van. You could walk around the Vivaro and still not have any sense of us inside, so for stealth camping it is 10 out of 10. The Iveco I would drive round with the German flags waving on the back corners in a bright yellow green van.

Rock n Bed : The bed pulls out very smoothly, we did that well. no restrictions, a kid could do that. I put the under sheet on, and have 2 pillows and the bed cover and I am starting to feel warm now.

Layout : The layout is actually better despite being a smaller van. I did love that Iveco though with it with green interior , large mirror, it had a presence with its larger size. I remember fondly of watching "Mississippi Grind" the gambling film with cool music with you in Greece and also "Toni Erdmann" the German father daughter film. We would relax having drinks, nip out for the occasional cigarette break, enjoying the peace and space. Sometimes in the Iveco, being comfortable inside, you would not know that we were in a stone rubble car park. It had a niceness.

In the Iveco when I sat down, I had to "slot myself in". tuck my legs under the desk, then work, eat and chill. In the Vivaro there is this empty space in front, which is the major difference.It is like spreading of your legs feeling the space. It is more open, this table is on the right, your storage cupboard for items above is practical.

Toilet : With the bed down, there is loads of space to still use the toilet. However when the bed is down the two doors under the side table cannot be opened, So toilet tissue needs to be stored in your cupboard, so it is accessible. We need wet wipes inside the Vivaro too. where in the Iveco I just turn on the shower head to wash my hands. I did that frequently. I returned inside the house to empty the toilet cassette and immediately noticed how much warmer it was in the house. This toilet is easy to empty, and clean, it is smaller, so it is something I could do at a service station without carrying around a big clunky toilet cassette which we had in the Iveco. The previous toilet had a weird spout, this one has a much simpler side twisting cap.

"Dr Prepare" Showering Kit: The method is to fill up hot water into a Black Showering kit. It has a water pump that is electric (That is charged by micro USB) or a foot pump if there is no electrical power.

I tested the shower. the 15 Litres of water is filled from a regular tap using the tap connect. The power is turned on with the electric pump and it fills 5 PSI into he water bag, and a handy torch light comes on too. There bag has a hose with a press down lever to turn to the water projection on. The flow is quite nice, not low or too high but quite sufficient. The whole tank empties in 5 minutes, So i wet the whole body for 2 minutes, stop the tap, use the Dove bar of soap, Pantene hair shampoo and brush my teeth in one go, then use the last 3 minutes of hot water. it works well with the electric pump, but 5 minutes is quite quick. The Iveco had a longer decent shower.

There is no 12 volt fridge. In the warehouse I have a plug in cigarette lighter socket 12 volt compact fan cooling portable cooler but I don't like it, so food we get on the move. This is the big difference between the Iveco and the Vivaro. The Iveco was built to be permanently lived in, with full solar power. The downside was that I needed the sun for solar, so I had to live in places with the sun, That then meant I was cooked alive inside a panel van, which I needed fans to keep me cool, whilst I showered and sweated.Then i would hide at night under a mosquito nest to hear those buggers buzzing around.

The plus side was that I bought food cheaply from Lidl or Carrefour , cooked it all inside the motor home, then washed up the cutlery, with the only real need was getting water once every two weeks filling 3 tanks.

The washing machine and dryer in the Iveco was brilliant, but needed a lot of solar, Using the scrubber bag is not as good.

Vauxhall Summary : I feel too old to be in the Vivaro, The Iveco I felt very comfortable in the bed, i would spread out on the matress, it was deep and comfortable. This bed is nice on the Vivaro but not full width. The toilet being a life saver in the Iveco, which it still is in the Vivaro. I showered daily in the Iveco, which i feel in the Vivaro is more for when there is hot water at a service station tap that can be used for the shower.

I remember on occasions, like in Georgia, that I would stay inside the Iveco for 7 days straight not needing to leave for anything. I would cook, shower, research, eat, sit in the front seats have a cigarette out the window, go back to lie-down. It was self contained but the Vivaro I'm stepping out to pack bed sheets away, leaning in from outside to do tasks.

The Vivaro is much easier to clean and feels solid and functional. For weekends and festivals we will be okay, which the folding solar panels will be enough for charging all the devices: your mobile, the 12 volt laptop, the MIFI, shower pump and the COKO light, The solar panel goes behind the windscreen so all the stuff is safely locked inside whilst it charges.

The Iveco was more like a house where at any time, day or night I could plug in anything and it would work. The Vivaro is still pretty good.
