General Description

High Performance Toffee Tape is an extremely aggressive high performance bonding tape that exhibits high levels of adhesionand cohesion. Compared to typical rubber resins High Performance Toffee Tape has excellent UV Resistance, High Shear Strength, High Peel Strength and Higher Service temperature rating. High Performance Toffee Tape is easy to use with a finger lift liner offering an instant high bond to most common materials from plastic, ceramics, metals, woodand glass. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it can even be used to bond difficult materials such as polyethylene and polypropylene.

Applications

  • Fixing signs and displays to most surfaces* without the need for drilling and screws
  • Jointing of plastic sheeting, filter membranes, damp proof membranes etc.
  • Fixing of Floor Materials (carpets, tiles, threshold strips)
  • Joining and sealing thin gauge aluminium skins in caravan production.
  • Mounting lightweight trim.
  • Bonding of insulation walls.
  • Joining of plastic sheeting, or simply making surfaces or products self-adhesive and thousands of other uses.
  • Fixing of edgings, sheeting, signs and tiles.Bonding kick plates.
  • Fixing roof bars on commercial vehicles. Fixing roof skins in commercial trailers
  • Fixing of carpets, decorative edging and board and trims.

  • Excellent strength bond to substrates, and no curing time required. Solvent free, therefore no fumes.
  • Ideal for uneven and difficult surfaces such as stucco, polyethylene, block walls and brickwork.
  • Pre-formed to a choice of sizes. Versatile "instant stick" adhesive on a roll.
  • FDA Approved for indirect food contact
  • 12mm, 19mm, 25mm, 38mm and 50mm widths as standard, or custom made.

Description: Double Sided Tape
Chemical constituents: A Solvent-less adhesive bonding tape based on a blend of synthetic rubber and resin. A white silicone coated paper is used as a liner. The product is wound into rolls.
