General Description

Based on a brown kraft paper carrier coated with a modified acrylic adhesive and a release coat for easy unwind. A particular feature is the competitive pricing of this tape.

The tape can be used for many splicing purposes but specifically as a BACK SPLICE for splicing casting papers (on the non-release side) as used in the production of synthetic leather.

The tape offers excellent adhesion to casting papers for both PU and PVC synthetic leather production and will withstand the temperature requirements encountered in this industry. It has a good shelf-life when stored at normal room temperatures.

Note:
Adhesion can be improved by applying tape with a plastic applicator (available free on request). Under cold conditions a warm iron pressed over the tape will also improve adhesion. Storage: use within 12 months and store in dry conditions and in original packaging. Protect from water / humidity / extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
